Gloth, G. and Sinapius, M. (2002) Modal Analysis of Windmilling Test-Data from Airbus A318 with Extended Flaps. Project Report, DLR-Interner Bericht. 232-2002 C 03. 49 S.

Abstract

Ground vibration tests were performed on the second prototype of the Airbus A318 in cooperation of DLR's and ONERA's GVT test teams. The tests comprise of the identification of the modal characteristics up to 30 Hz, so-called windmilling tests, and the investigation of control surface failure cases. During the windmillting test sequence a test run with extended flaps was performed. The resulting frequency response functions were modally analysed. The results of the data evaluation are summarised in this report.
