Abstract

Driver monitoring systems are one of the widely practiced researched domains when it comes to proliferate Autonomous Vehicle System(AVS) to ensure the safety of the vehicle occupant during driving task. Learning an ontology can aid the researchers and car manufacturers to explore this domain.It is an approach for the problem of knowledge acquisition bottleneck that aims at reducing the cost and expertise to formalize a knowledge base through the development of automatic methods for the extraction of knowledge about a specific domain in a structured way. In this work, We propose a methodology for ontology learning in the domain of the driver monitoring systems incorporating machine learning, statistical and linguistic approach that reveals a good result.
