Abstract

The here presented paper concentrates on the dynamic verification of large launcher structures in the low frequency domain. This domain contributes to the design loads of the primary structures and can be the dimensioning load for heavy components. Generally, the philosophy is to qualify all equipment versus the dynamic environment by tests, that means to apply the flight environment with additional margin and to prove the structural and functional integrity. An overview of specific needs of such vibration tests is given and the different test possibilities are discussed.
