Abstract

Dynamic acceptance tests with PPF/ENVISAT-1 Flight Model were performed in August 2000. During the tests the structure was excited by base accelerations on the HYDRA test facility. In addition a simplified Modal Survey Test with an electrodynamic shaker was performed. Data from both tests types were employed for the modal identification. This report describes the data analysis, modal identification and presents the results in terms of eigenfrequencies, damping values and mode shapes. A discussion of test results and test conditions concludes the report.
