Abstract
A research ground vibration research test on an Airbus A340-300~MSN~1 will be commonly performed by ONERA and DLR on September 1999 in cooperation with the airbus partners Aerospatiale, France, and Dasa, Germany. In order to prepare the ground vibration research test technically the test teams of ONERA and DLR performed a pre-test on the aircraft PARIS, a research aircraft placed at SOPEMEA's ground vibration test laboratory in Velizy, Fance. The report describes the test objectives, test setup, and test performance.
