Abstract

A Modal Survey Test was performed on the Stuctural and Thermal Model (STM) of the INTEGRAL satellite. The main objective of the test was to provide a reliable data base for updating the analytical mathematical model of the spacecraft and for improvement of the structural dynamic modelling. The tests were performed by DLR in the Large European Acoustic Facility at ESTEC. The measurements included the normal modes and the corresponding modal parameters in the frequency range up to 100 Hz. The test results are correlated witht the respective analytical predictions. The present report describes the test performance and summarizes the test results.
