Abstract

This paper deals with the digitalization of the turbine test bench NG-Turb. For an optimized operation of the test facility a thermodynamic representation of the test bench has been created and validated. The thermodynamic model is used for the prediction of feasible test facility adaptations, which enable the system to reach demanded turbine inlet conditions. Based on this study the extension of the compressor spool speed range was successfully realized.
