Abstract

The estimation of the loads is a key aspect of the aircraft design process and during the life-time of an aircraft. The estimation of loads can be done by calculation and by measurement. DLR has made comprehensible efforts to tackle the topic aircraft loads. A so-called kernel loads process has been defined as well as corresponding disciplines with reference to the loads process. The continuing development of the DLR loads process, especially within the "DLR project KonTeKst", are presented.
