Abstract
Digitization is a novel research field of German Aerospace Center (DLR) and represents the basis for a future factory for composites. But where does automation lead to and why is it indispensable for composite production? Human Aided Automation is seen as key concept for a sustainable and efficient automation of production processes. Human Centered Digitization offers specific benefits for composite manufacture.
