Abstract

The paper presents a chimera technique for unstructured Finite Volume schemes which is implemented in the DLR Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes Solver Tau. The chimera technique is assumed to be an efficient way to compute transient multiple problems, like control surface deflections. The paper describes the search and interpolation algorithms. Steady state solutions for inviscid sub - and supersonic test cases are presented in order to demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the implemented algorithms.
