Abstract

* New and enhanced positioning technologies for the potential deployment in C-ITS are available and under development * IEEE802.11bd will provide a set of new tools for positioning when available * UWB is a promising candidate technology mainly for short range high accuracy positioning for VRUs * An integration of these technologies into future releases of the ITS standards will be required to take advantage of these capabilities
