Abstract
Todesfälle und Verletzung durch Unfälle an Bahnübergängen (BÜ) motivieren die Entwicklung von innovativen Sicherheitsmaßnahmen für BÜ im Rahmen des Projektes SAFER-LC (Safer level crossing by integrating and optimizing road-rail infrastructure management and design). Zur Bewertung der Sicherheitsmaßnahmen wurde, basierenden auf dem Konzept der Key performance indicators (KPI), das Performance indicator-System (PIS) entwickelt, das in fünf Kategorien eingeteilt und im vorliegenden Bericht beschrieben wird.
