Abstract
The paper studies air vehicle port spatial distributionswithin an urban area and their noise impact on population. The aim of thepaper is to provide a vision ofthe tradeoff between the infrastructure size of the urban air transportation system (including potential revenues) and the number of negatively affected by noise produced by the system. It was conductedby modeling a number of air vehicle port distributionsfor various scenarios for asimulated virtual urban area. The scenarioswere assessed by different metrics and the optimal solutions were determined.
