The presentation focuses on the field of automated production processes for CFRPs and hybrids in Aerospace. This includes the research activities at the DLR ZLP on automation of manufacturing processes for CFRP and hybrid components. Automation approaches and solutions have been developed in full scale and the presented examples have been demonstrated in a near industrial environment for process development, optimisation, demonstration and verification.
