Abstract

This paper presents a new method that improves the estimation of the ionospheric phase screen, with respect to the split-spectrum method, and that is able to separate ground- from ionosphere-induced azimuth motion. It is based on a Bayesian combination of the ionospheric phase screen estimate, obtained with the split-spectrum method, with the double derivative of the azimuth ionospheric variation, extracted from differential multi-squint interferograms. In order to show the applicability of the method preliminary results are presented.
