Abstract
This chapter talks about the orbital aspects of flight dynamics (FD) and is divided into two main sections. In the first one, theoretical aspects are addressed, where an overview is given about the description of a satellite orbit, the orbit perturbations, orbit maneuvers, and orbit maintenance. These topics are important for the understanding and successful performing of FD operations, which is presented in the section flight dynamics tasks.
