Kurzfassung
This document is the Interface Control Document (ICD) of the internal data format on the DBFSAR on-board data storage. It is also the interface to the V-SAR on-board processor. It provides the description of the data format for DBFSAR & V-SAR radar data recordings to be stored on-board the aircraft. The software developers of the DBFSAR control and data transcription software and the ones of the V-SAR system’s on-board processor are the intended readership of this document. For DBFSAR, because of the channel-interleaved storing of radar data and the restricted data handling possibilities an after-flight data transcription is necessary to provide data in comfortable formats and to facilitate further data archiving and precision data processing. For operational V-SAR data processing on-board the aircraft the access to different channels of the V-SAR system is implemented within the on-board processor.
