Abstract
Das Institut für Flugführung ist eine der weltweit führenden Forschungseinrichtungen im Bereich des Luftverkehrsmanagements. Neben anderen Werkzeugen ist der Apron und Tower-Simulator (ATS – siehe Abbildung 1) ein Mittel um die Forschungsaufgaben des Instituts zu unterstützen. Da Experimente und Validierungen im ATS großen Aufwand verursachen können, muss die Verwendung, die Wartung und die Weiterentwicklung des Simulators ausreichend geplant werden. In diesem Dokument wird auf Basis der Projekte von 2014 und der aktuellen Situation eine Strategie für das Jahr 2015 abgeleitet und zusammengefasst.
