Abstract

A generic model was built to analyze the influence of different factors on the thermal reduction in a receiver/reactor. Reaction kinetics and other properties will be assessed as limiting factors in different scenarios. The model also points at different restrictions which should be considered when kinetic data is to be extracted from experiments. An alternative approach is presented which bypasses limitations of the reduction reaction.
