Abstract

Within the context of the Embraer-DLR-FT research cooperation concerning aircraft icing and Online-System-Identification this report outlines the data processing performed for the Embraer Phenom 300 aircraft in order to calibrate the angle of attack and angle of sideslip sensors, accelerometers and measured angular rates. Flight test data for both the clean aircraft configuration and various icing configurations were analysed. In the following the flight test data was the base to develop of a flight mechanical simulation model using System-Identification. The first step presented in this report in detail was the development of the clean configuration aircraft model. Different modeling approaches for aircraft icing conditions will be presented in the following report.
