Abstract
The presentation exemplify the challenge of complex environmental processors and the motivation for operational remote sensing test sites. Remote Sensing includes diverse e.g. platforms, sensors, methods for interpretation. The result is an urgent need for cal / val data from a number of environmental parameters. For the development of value-added information products based on remote sensing cal / dal data from a variety of environmental parameters are urgently needed. The test site DEMMIN has an operational automated measurement infrastructure that can provide the relevant in-situ-data for the calibration and validation of remote sesning.
