Abstract

This Technical Note (TN2) is a result of the activity 'Advanced Measurement Techniques for the Validation of CFD for Cryogenic Flows in Reduced Gravity', performed by DLR under contract from the European Space Agency. It contains the design of a cryogenic benchmark experiment, introducing fibre-optic sensor/measurement equipment for bubble detection and temperature measurement in liquid nitrogen and liquid hydrogen.
