Abstract

Der Vogelschlagversuch auf den LIF-OH Spurengas-Einlass, der am Forschungszentrum Jülich entwickelt wurde, dient dem Nachweis der Integrität dieses Gerätes. Die Aufprallbedingungen wurden folgendermaßen gewählt: Der Einlass wurde auf einem Gerüst mit Interface-Platte montiert. Der Vogelschlag wird mit einem Gelatine-Kunstvogel von 1.814 kg (4 lbs) Masse bei 135.1 m/s simuliert. The report describes the bird strike test on the LIF-OH trace gas inlet which was developed at Forschungszentrum Jülich. The purpose of the qualification test is to show the integrity of this device. The impact conditions chosen are: The device was mounted on a support structure with an interface plate. The bird strike is simulated by an artificial substitute bird of gelatine with 1.814 kg (4 lbs) weight at 135.1 m/s impact velocity.
