Abstract

The Time Domain Analysis Tool (TimeDAT) is a simulation framework for SAR data. The framework is developed for a large variety of analyses on the image quality of SAR systems. The basic modules are raw data generation, SAR processing and retrieval of image parameters. In order to study specific questions, additional modules can be inserted. Each step within the analysis chain is basically carried out in the time domain. This paper presents the basic structure and functionality of the framework.
