Abstract
Plattformübergreifende App-Entwicklung für Android, iOS, Mac OSX, Linux, Windows, ... das geht auch Nicht-Webbasiert! Im Vortrag wird das Python-Framework Kivy vorgestellt und gezeigt wie einfach sich Apps für die genannten Plattformen entwickeln, paketieren und verteilen lassen.
Kivy ist plattformübergreifendes Python-Framework für Natural User Interfaces (NUI), das auf Android, iOS, Mac OSX, Linux und Windows läuft. Eine Portierung auf Raspberry Pi ist auch bald verfügbar. Mit Kivy lassen sich einfach grafikbasierte und multi-touch-fähige Apps entwickeln, die auf all diesen Plattformen direkt lauffähig sind. Da das Entwickeln mit Kivy und Python sehr schnell geht, lassen sich damit schnell Prototypen oder auch richtige Produkte entwickeln. Kivy ist frei als Open-Source-Software verfügbar.
Im Vortrag werden die Grundlagen des Kivy-Frameworks und viele Beispiele für Kivy-basierte Apps vorgestellt. Dabei wird alles live auf Laptop bzw. Smartphones demonstriert. Es wird auch erläutert wie man fertige Packages zum Installieren auf den verschiedenen Betriebssystemen erstellt, um seine App auch über App-Markets verteilen zu können.
