Abstract

Direct diode pumping of Ho:YAG or Cr:ZnSe with InP-diode-laser stacks at 1.908 µm in thin disk laser concepts lead to 22 W and 4.2 W cw output power at 2.09 µm and 2.4 µm, respectively
