Abstract

The project consisted in determining quantitatively the temperature on the surface of an object by means of the Temperature-Sensitive Paint measurement technique. Three temperature measurement techniques were used: Infrared Thermography (IR), thermocouples, and Temperature-Sensitive Paint (TSP). A good agreement between calibrated TSP, IR and thermocouples measurements was observed. The calibration of TSP can be therefore considered a promising method for the quantitative determination of the temperature on the surface of an object.
