Miniaturized antenna arrays face antenna engineers with the effect of mutual coupling, which may degrade the overall performance due to pattern distortion and mismatch. The present work shows an uncoupled rematching technique for coupled receive arrays, by using simple separate matching networks for each element of a rotationally-symmetric array. The improvements in obtained performance as well as an initial comparison with more complicated decoupling and matching networks will be presented.
