Abstract

This study shows the concept for the integration of SAR and optical remote sensing data in model of land surface processes. The focus lies in aggregated models as drivers for synergistic data utilization and in the data fusion and paraemtere extraction, whcih are necessary to run the models. The results of land surface processes models concentrate on biospheric production, water cycle, ecology and agricultural production.
