Abstract
The purpose of the project is to determine the behaviours of a grid stiffened fuselage structure under pure and combined loads. The influence of anisotropy, geomety, and material parameters on the response of the structure was studied. CLT, smearing method, and FEM with parametric session file (MSC) were used. Design recommendations were formulated to minimize unwanted structural responses and decrease weight while respecting strnegth and stiffness criteria.
