This report describes the application of HAREM in combination with the CPACS data set. Ir describe the input and output interface between CPACS and HAREM and give an overview over the flying qualities analysis that can currently be performed by HAREM on the basis of CPACS. The tool HAREM (HAndling qualities Research and Evaluation using Matlab) was developed at the DLR Institute of Flight Systems and allows the assessment of different handling qualities criteria of the longitudinal and lateral motion of a fixed wing aircraft. For the analysis of CPACS based aircraft models the tool uses the linearized flight dynamic model provided by the tool flightSim.
