Abstract

For Cell-Vertex Finite Volume methods, upwinding may be establisehd by Cell Vertex Upwind or Residual Distribution schemes. Interpreted as a Residual Distribution Scheme, the classical Lax-Wendroff method is augmented by accounting for all eigenvalues, and to improve shock capturing it is blended with a Cell Vertex Upwind method. For inviscid, subsonic flow superconvergence is shown, and for viscious flows accuray close to second order or higher is achieved
