Abstract

The German Aerospace Center is currently constructing a large-scale research facility called Application platform for Intelligent Mobility (AIM). This paper describes the reference track a test site for Vehicle2X communication and cooperative driver assistance systems as a major part of the new research infrastructure. After the hardware architecture is discussed in detail, use cases and related research projects using the infrastructure are briefly described.
