Abstract

The presentation describes the ongoing technology development of a fiber reinforced ceramic rocket combustion chamber with transpiration cooling. Cooling techniques suitable for CMC material characteristics and design/manufacturing concepts for both combustion chamber and new injection concepts are explained. Finally test results from recent test campaigns at test benches of DLR Lampoldshausen are presented.
