Abstract

In DLR's internal project ALLFlight helicopter pilot assistance systems are investigated, that can assist the pilot from takeoff to landing on unprepared sites in the presence of obstacles and in poor visibility. It will provide the opportunity to test the full process, from sensors to data fusion and trajectory planning, using modern flight control techniques in real time in real situations inflight.
