Abstract

A continuous composite tool chain “as-built” is described beyond state-of-the-art. It comprises the various interdisciplinary working phases, provides the necessary connectivity for a concurrent engineering and, thus, enables iteration loops for product improvements. Detailed information is given on the developed mapping algorith to transfer result data between different analysis steps (e.g. between different process simulations and structural analyses). An extract of this all-embracing tool chain is exemplarily demonstrated by a feedback of forming simulation data back into the detailed design phase of composite structures.
