SRP 1.2: Updates and simulation results

This technical report explains how SRP (Solid Rocket Propulsion analysis) was updated from version 1.1 to version 1.2 in order to provide more reliable results and how its abilities were extended. Indeed it is now possible to provide the vacuum thrust history, in order to compute the chamber pressure history. In addition the programme is now able to deal with the beginning and the end of the firing when the combustion chamber pressure is low and the Mach number in the throat is smaller than 1. Simulations results for different types of solid rocket motors are also presented and compared to the real data. Finally in the appendix some information about SRP structure is given in order to facilitate future updates.
