Abstract

This document is the “MMI and Human Factors Definition” report of the Surveillance in an Urban environment using Mobile sensors Project, corresponding to the Contract A-0380-RT-GC on Multi Sensor Anti Sniper System [AD. 2] of the “Defence R&T Joint Investment Programme on Force Protection” (A-0120-RT-GC) under the Call “Data Analysis, including Data Fusion from various Sources” (A-0444-RT-GC). The purpose of this document is to provide an insight into the Man Machine Interface produced in the SUM project with the aim of raising the operator’s situational awareness. The available information has been explored and the suitable information for displaying has been determined along with the data representation and the interfaces of the data sources. It also considers other relevant aspects in the scope of Human Factors considered in the development of the project, apart from the MMI. It also gives a summary of the implementation of the Man Machine Interface and the tests conducted.
