The document is structured as following: at first, the preparation of scenarios is presented, including descriptions of the scenario definitions given by the community of Bologna, of their conversion into scenarios usable within the iTETRIS environment, and the extrapolation of the demand. In the following chapters, work done on allowing to simulate traffic management strategies is presented, starting with vehicle routing and rerouting and followed by the preparation of SUMO traffic lights model and design of traffic light algorithms that use information gained via V2X communication. Then, the extensions done for simulating vehicle movements with time steps below one second and work on allowing the simulation of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) are given. Because the road networks used within iTETRIS are already converted into the SUMO format, further information about the infrastructure, for example about the positions of ITS Roadside Stations can be retrieved from SUMO, too. The possibilities to define such information and to interact with SUMO to obtain it are given, followed by a summary of the done work.
