Abstract
The Columbus Control Center (Col-CC) situated at the DLR premises in Oberpfaffenhofen/Germany has in the mean time gathered more than three years of experience as an operational control center in the International Space Station (ISS) community. During this time, the concept applied to training of the Flight Control Team (FCT) has evolved as well. A combination of training blocks, subject matter expertise education, simulations, on-the-job training sessions and self-study material is used to phase new team members into the existing Flight Control Team.
