Abstract

This paper presents a validation procedure for cooling channel flows based on experimental results. Therefore, first the experimental setup and design is presented. Following the numerical approach based on the Reynolds-Analogy, firstly the friction factor is measured to adjust the roughness parameter. By applying this roughness parameter fitted in the two used CFD-Models, the heat loaded case was calculated and the first results are compared to the experimental data.
