Abstract
Monitoring of the European Ionosphere in DLR Neustrelitz is discussed in relation to LOFAR. In particular radio wave propagation through the ionosphere including LOFAR frequencies are considered. Capabilities of the ionosphere weather service SWACI are demonstrated.
