Abstract

For the operation of safety of life applications the assessment of GNSS signal and positioning quality has to be considered as one elementary task before augmentation and correction data are derived and provided. GBAS systems are one possible solution to achieve the specified integrity and accuracy performance for such applications. The presentation is focussed on enhanced signal assessment for maritime GBAS systems as prospective add-on for integrity monitoring.
