Abstract
Mobility information services can contribute integrating different means of transportation by linking specific (real time) information of different modes of transport and providing this information in an entirely personalized format to the user. Hereby disadvantages of broken trip chains are lowered and persons are encouraged to use alternative modes of transportation. This contribution will analyze the coherency between information and travel behaviour following the questions: What are the benefits of Mobility Information Services, and do Mobility Information Services encourage the use of alternative modes of transport and support multimodal trip chains?
