Abstract

The AISat Microsatellite Project proposes to use a helical, spring-like antenna that will self-deploy from a compressed configuration upon orbit injection. MSC Adams software was used to dynamically model this deployment motion and provide an estimation for the actual motion of the various antennas as they are deployed.
