Kurzfassung
This report presents the major results and conclusion of the three week study of a small demonstrator kickstage using the Design Workshop Facility at the DLR Institute of Space Systems, Bremen. The kickstage is the final stage of the Reusable First Stage launcher proposed by DLR for the Aldebaran program. This stage is the experimental carrier for the fully ceramic combustion chamber which is currently studied within DLR in the frame of the Propulsion 2010 technology program. Furthermore, the in-house developed core avionics Middleware Switch for space application shall be used for this launcher.
