Abstract

With data from this HOTIS test, performed 2005 in the rotor preparation hall of DLR Inst. of Flight Systems together with the PIV experts of the DLR Inst. of Aerodynamics and Flow Technology the final proof of the advantages of PIV compared to LDV was aimed to be given. The publications of the results already showed that this proof was successful. This report describes in detail the test setup, the measurement equipment used and results obtained.
