Abstract
The heat pipes application in passive radiative cooling system is considered on the base of the analysis of thermal balance of consecutive thermal elements in system „Sensor - heat pipe – radiator-space“. This analysis defines the points of main thermal attention – heat leakage from mounting place, heat exchange with external radiative surrounding, minimization of thermal resistance of conductors and interaction between these factors. The secularities of heat pipe application as a heat transfer line has been considered in the details. As the sample of successful heat pipe radiative cooling system application the results of several space missions are reviewed.
