Abstract
The purpose of the session is to inform the aviation community in compact form about the recent IPCC findings on global climate change, and the need for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in general in the coming decades, the aviation contributions to climate change, the mitigations options, the open questions and strategies to answer them, and ongoing research and developments which have the goal to reduce aviation’s climate impact.
