Abstract

One objective of AWIATOR Task 1.3 is the assessment of flight procedure feasibility and safety. Due to the lack of A340 performance data for fast time simulation which should be performed by DLR this objective could only be accomplished through extended analysis of simulator data resulted from TU-Berlin study. For the same reason an analysis of the influence of aircraft weight and wind-speed on procedure precision and safety will be based on a theoretical approach without applying fast time simulation methods.
